MUSTANG, NEPAL – Located on the edge of a rugged cliff in Mustang District of Nepal just 200km from the Jomsom Shinta Mani Hotel is recognized by Robb Report’s( luxury-lifestyle magazine), as the the World’s No. 1 Luxury Hotel for 2026.

Previously the Rosewood Amsterdam, from Amsterdam, Netherlands has achieved this recognition in 2025.

How the Ranking Works
Robb Report’s annual ranking is selected by a panel of 24 leading luxury travel experts, known as the Travel Masters. They judge the hotel on different factors such as guest experience, service, location, management, and authenticity.
The expert team of Robb Report was stunned, even in the remote location the hotel has unique design, peaceful atmosphere and best himalayan view from the room. They praise the hotel as a place that brings body, mind, and soul.
A Masterclass in Design and Sustainability
Shinta Mani Mustang was opened in August 2023 under the visionary guidance of renowned hotel designer Bill Bensley. It is operated by the Sherpa Hospitality Group as a part of Bensley Collection. It was established not for a luxury but for the travellers to experience the culture, nature, and unique experiences of Mustang.
Having just 29 suites built from traditional Baglung stone, the property is designed to mirror a traditional Tibetan home. The hotel sits in the Kali Gandaki Valley. This land looks like the moon. Big peaks like Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri stand nearby. Every room shows wide mountain views.
