Tamang Heritage Trek Review by Gareth Danks, London
I chose the Tamang Heritage Trail because I wanted to escape the crowds of the popular routes, and I’m so glad I did. For most of the trek, I felt like I had the trails almost to myself. It’s a hidden gem that offers that classic Himalayan experience without the constant rush of other trekkers. The scenery is surprisingly diverse. you get everything from lush forests and terraced fields to high-altitude pastures and dramatic snow-capped peaks. The trail is well-maintained but rugged enough to feel like a real adventure. If you want a peaceful, introspective trek where you can actually hear your own boots on the path rather than a megaphone, this is the one to pick
