We compared the Lemosho, Rongai, and Machame routes for price and success rate. Machame gave us the highest success odds (≈ 85 % on 8‑day itineraries) while still being affordable. The huts are clean, the meals are balanced (extra protein for those high‑altitude burns), and the overall vibe is supportive. Worth every penny.
