Today, you will have a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city's heritage sites, starting with a visit to the Pashupatinath, a revered Hindu temple situated by the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Next, you will visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the most important Buddhist sites in the city. The next stop is the Swayambhunath Stupa, situated atop a hill from where the entire view of the city is seen quite spectacularly. This day, you will be visiting the two other major cities that make up the Kathmandu Valley beside the capital- Bhaktapur, and Patan. You will be driving to Lumbini today, which is situated about 289 kilometers away. It takes about 7 hours to get there, and the drive consists of beautiful countryside sceneries, with occasional terrace farms and rivers swiftly jutting across the terrain. This day is reserved for sightseeing in the Pokhara city, where you will be visiting its many highlights and attractions- like the Mahendra Cave, the World Peace Pagoda, Davis Fall, the Gupteshwor Cave and many more. You can also visit the International Mountaineering Museum, as well as the Gorkha Memorial Museum. After a full day of touring and adventure activities, you will be transferred back to your Hotel. Early morning, after the visit to Sarangkot, you will have your breakfast, and then drive back to Kathmandu, bidding goodbye to the Annapurna Mountains. The drive is pleasant and runs along the highway beside the Kali Gandaki River. After arriving back in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
