Bhutan Thuimphu Tour review by Robert and Claire Sterling

We are the kind of travelers who enjoy comfort, good service, and well-planned holidays, so we were a little unsure about what to expect from a trip to Bhutan. Since it is a small Himalayan country, we wondered if we would have to compromise on comfort. Thankfully, everything exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. Prakash Kapri and his team made sure every part of our journey was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable.

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and looked after. Our hotels were beautiful, clean, and located in peaceful places with wonderful mountain and valley views. The private vehicle was always comfortable, clean, and ready on time, making every drive pleasant. Our guide and driver were friendly, patient, and always happy to answer our questions about Bhutan’s history, culture, traditions, and daily life. We never felt rushed and always had enough time to enjoy each destination.

One of the best parts of the tour was visiting places that felt peaceful and less crowded. We had the chance to explore ancient monasteries, traditional villages, and local markets while learning about Bhutanese customs from our guide. We also met local artists and craftspeople who shared their skills and traditions with us, making the experience feel much more personal than a typical sightseeing tour.

The communication throughout the trip was excellent. Before we arrived, all of our questions were answered quickly, which gave us confidence that everything was well organized. During the tour, every transfer, sightseeing visit, and hotel check-in went exactly as planned. It allowed us to relax and simply enjoy the experience without worrying about the details.

What impressed us most was how personal the service felt. It never felt like we were just another group of tourists. Prakash Kapri genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experience and was always available whenever we needed assistance or had a special request.

Bhutan is an incredibly beautiful country with breathtaking landscapes, rich traditions, and some of the kindest people we have ever met. Having such thoughtful planning and professional support made our journey even more memorable. We returned home with wonderful memories, beautiful photographs, and a much deeper appreciation for Bhutan. We would happily recommend Prakash Kapri to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-organized, and authentic travel experience in Bhutan
