3 Day Ghorepani Poonhill Trek Review: Emma W., United Kingdom

I was on a 3day backpacking tour of Nepal and managed to squeeze this trek in between two bus rides. The ascent to Ghorepani was steep but the teahouses were surprisingly clean and the staff friendly. The sunrise at Poon Hill was worth every early‑morning alarm—seeing Dhaulagiri glow pink was pure magic. My only gripe was the shared bathroom at the Ghorepani lodge; a private shower would have been a game‑changer for a long‑haul trekker like me. Overall, a perfect ‘quick‑fix’ for the Himalayas.
