3 Day Ghorepani Poonhill Trek Review: Nisha R., Australia

Three days, three nights, and a lifetime of memories. The trek is a great intro to high‑altitude trekking without the logistics of a long expedition. The teahouse staff in Ghorepani went out of their way to help me with my camera gear—protecting it from the cold and humidity. The sunrise was so vivid that I could see each ridge line distinctly; I even caught a glimpse of a soaring Himalayan griffon. The only “issue” was the small bathroom at Ghandruk, but it added to the camaraderie—everyone laughed and swapped snack stories while waiting.
