3 Day Ghorepani Poonhill Trek Review: Carlos M., United States
First time in Nepal and I was terrified of altitude. The 3‑day schedule meant we were climbing quickly, and on Day 2 my ears popped badly on the ridge. The guide, a seasoned local named Sanjay, gave us breathing exercises that helped a lot. The view from Poon Hill is exactly what postcards promise, and the tea house dinner in Ghorepani—dal‑bhat with a side of fresh yak cheese—was the best meal of the trip. I dock a star because the road from Pokhara to Nayapul was chaotic (lots of honking trucks), but once on foot the trail is a blissful escape.
