Ngima Sherpa – Experienced Trekking & Expedition Climbing Guide
Ngima Sherpa, born on 19th March 1986 in Khotang, Nepal, is a passionate climber with years of experience living and guiding at high altitudes. Since the beginning of his career, he has been an integral part of High Route Adventure, growing from a porter to a highly respected expedition climbing guide.
In 2012, Ngima completed professional training through the Nepal Mountaineering Association, including the RECCO introductory course, basic mountaineering course, and trekking guide training. Over more than a decade in the field, he has gained the knowledge, skills, and maturity essential for safe and successful expeditions.
Ngima’s climbing achievements include summiting Mt. Everest (2016), Lhotse, and Ama Dablam (4 times). Beyond these iconic peaks, he has also climbed several of Nepal’s famous trekking and expedition mountains such as Island Peak, Lobuche Peak, Naya Kanga, Mera Peak, and multiple 7000m peaks, along with Mt. Trishul in India.
Fluent in the mountains and with basic English for communication, Ngima is known for his calm nature, reliability, and dedication to client safety. His deep understanding of Himalayan terrain, combined with hands-on climbing expertise, makes him a trusted companion for both trekking and high-altitude expeditions.
