The trek enters Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, home to over 170 species of birds, rare orchids, colorful butterflies, and refreshing woodland trails.
From here, you hike to Chisapani, a tranquil vantage point with wide-open views of the snow-capped peaks and the Kathmandu Valley. The fresh mountain air, green hills, and Himalayan backdrop create a picture-perfect trekking experience.

You may arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our airport representatives. He will help you get transferred to your Hotel. There are no planned activities for the day, thus you may check into your Hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
You will have a lovely short drive to Sundarijal on this day. The drive is quite lovely and upon reaching Sundarijal, you trek through the Shivapuri National Park. From Sundarijal, you will then trek to Chisapani, passing by the village of Mulkharka and pastures with maize combs dried in the sweltering sun. Finally, trekking through the woods, you will emerge to Chisapani. Overnight stay at the teahouse at Chisapani.
From Chisapani, you will trek to Nagarkot passing through magical alpine woodlands with moss-covered trees and dense canopies of leaf creepers and orchids. Likewise, the trails are also filled with numerous villages of the local ethnic groups, especially Sherpas. As the Himalayas begin to display their unmatched beauty, you will reach Nagarkot. Overnight stay at the hotel at Nagarkot.
Nagarkot offers a panoramic view of the distant Himalayan range some of the most esteemed Himalayas. From the view tower at Nagarkot, you can see views of the Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Jugal Himal, and Langtang ranges. Early in the morning, you can witness a phenomenal sunrise view amidst the mountain peaks. After spending some time at Nagarkot, you will take a short trek to the Changunarayan Temple- another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It presents the beautiful architecture and historical relevance to explore and enjoy. Finally, you will have a drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
